  • Saved $7.2 million by conceiving and implementing in-house Trading Platform 'VanDe', which converted the trading desk to paperless workflow, allowing real-time PnL, position monitoring and risk management. System was subsequently enhanced to receive electronic trade reports from NASDAQ and Instinet, and migrated to SQL Server for stability, robustness and performance (1991 - 2005)
  • Deployment of Fidessa Order Management System - all aspects, including Business Analysis of requirements; vetting and comparison of competing vendor proposals; contract negotiation; and project management of actual rollout (2005)
  • Led negotiation and analysis of Order Management System vendors (Sungard, Fidessa and Bloomberg SSEOMS were the competitors), a $2,000,000 commitment (2009)
  • Responsible for all aspects of Pacific Growth and Wedbush Securities' OMS and FIX implementations (sell-side) including all contact with buy-side traders and PM's, OMS service providers and technical staff
  • Saved $2,000,000 by conceiving and implementing in-house CRM system (2001 - 2009)
  • Identified opportunity for electronic distribution of securities research reports, among the first on Wall Street and considered by many clients best of breed for its simplicity and completeness. (2001 - 2009)
